With over 15 years clinical experience, Úna O’Leary’s philosophy for patient care is based on the importance of providing empathic, patient centred osteopathic care of the highest standard for the treatment of a wide variety of conditions including back, neck, joint and muscle aches and pains as well as sports injuries, joint and soft tissue injuries.
A graduate of the Irish College of Osteopathic Medicine and Kingston University, Úna O’Leary is committed to ensuring each treatment is carefully and consistently formulated to best meet the requirements of each individual patient and treatments are suitable for all ages from new-born babies to older adults.
Treatments are tailored to suit each individual using of range of different hands-on osteopathic techniques including joint articulations, mobilisation and manipulation, muscle energy techniques, fascial unwinding and cranial osteopathy in conjunction with massage therapy, electrotherapy (ultrasound and faradic), orthopaedic dry needling, clinical kinesiology taping and orthotic and insole prescription/fitting.
As a registered member of the Osteopathic Council of Ireland (OCI), treatments by Úna O’Leary are approved by all major private health insurance companies.
Our clinic safety measures during Covid-19
In order to ensure the safety of both patients and staff during the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, specific in-clinic policies and protocols have been implemented which conform to advice and guidelines from the HSE, WHO and OCI. Please read and comply with our safety measures below to ensure the highest standards for hygiene and infection control our clinic.
Each patient will be contacted in advance of their appointment to complete some COVID-19 screening questions. If you answer “yes” to any of these screening questions, you will be advised not to attend the clinic at this time.
Please arrive in time for your appointment and please wait in your car until you receive a text message informing you to enter the clinic.
Please come alone to your appointment, where possible. Where a child is attending the clinic, only one parent/guardian should attend with the child, where possible.
Patients are requested to bring minimal items to appointments. Patients are to bring their own shorts or towel where appropriate.
Please use the hand sanitiser provided immediately when you arrive at the clinic. Please sanitise when leaving the clinic also.
All patients are advised to bring their own mask to be worn during their treatment session.
Your therapist will wear full Personal Protective Equipment (apron, gloves, mask) for the hands-on part of the session (<2 metres distance).
All surface areas are thoroughly disinfected between patient visits.
Adequate ventilation of the clinic shall be ensured by monitoring CO2 levels.
A contactless payment system shall be available.
